DISCLAIMER
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This disclaimer supplements the LEGAL NOTICE and explains the reasonable limits of our liability. It does not affect the rights the law grants to consumers or exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, such as liability arising from our wilful misconduct or negligence or from the condition of the premises.
1. Information about the Camino and the area
The guides, distances, times, elevation gains, services, opening hours and recommendations on this website are indicative and may change due to roadworks, diversions, closures, weather or season. Check them before setting out and always follow the official Camino waymarking.
2. Health and physical activity
The Camino de Santiago requires physical effort and each pilgrim walks it at their own risk: assess your fitness, equip yourself properly and take out the travel or assistance insurance you consider appropriate. In an emergency, call 112. Casa Buen Camino does not provide medical care; any first-aid material we offer is a courtesy. Please tell us in advance about any allergy or special need we should know about.
3. Luggage and personal belongings
We act as a reception and delivery point for luggage sent by independent transport companies (for example Correos or Jacotrans). We are not liable for damage, opening or loss during that transport, which is the carrier’s responsibility. Inside the house, we recommend looking after your valuables; we will be liable under the law where the damage or loss is attributable to the establishment. Forgotten items will be kept for a reasonable time and can be sent to you at your expense on request.
4. Incidents, force majeure and utilities
We are not liable if a pilgrim cannot reach Arzúa because of injury, exhaustion or weather; cancellations are governed by the booking conditions and those of the platform used. Nor are we liable for temporary interruptions of electricity, water, internet or other utilities beyond our control, although we will try to restore them as soon as possible and without prejudice to consumer rights.
5. Third-party services and recommendations
The restaurants, taxis, physiotherapists, shops and other services we mention are independent of Casa Buen Camino, and we do not guarantee their quality or availability.
6. Use of the house
Guests must take care of the house and respect the house rules. They are responsible for damage caused by improper, negligent or wilful use, as provided by law.
7. Complaints
We keep consumer complaint forms at the property. You can also write to us at reservas@casabuencamino.com.
