Frequently asked questions

Here we answer what guests ask us most before booking: times, arrival, parking, meals and a few other things about the Camino.

What time can I check in and check out?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out at 10:00. If you need a different time, just ask: it depends on availability on those days.

Do I need to book in advance in Arzúa?

Yes. Arzúa is where the Camino del Norte joins the Camino Francés, and from May to September it fills up. It is best to book ahead so you are not left without a bed at the end of the stage.

Do you offer a backpack transport service?

Yes. If you use a backpack transport service, you can give “Casa Buen Camino” as the delivery point and we will receive it so it is ready when you arrive.

Is there a laundry for pilgrims?

Yes, there is a washing machine and a dryer (the use of both is subject to a supplement), and also a drying area. That way your clothes will be ready for the next stage, towards O Pedrouzo or Santiago.

Are there places to eat near the house?

The house is 400 metres from the centre of Arzúa. Nearby you have:

  • Supermarkets less than 200 metres away.
