Sleep in Arzúa
At Casa Buen Camino you have a whole house to sleep in after the stage: clean, quiet rooms to recover before reaching Santiago.
The rooms
There are three rooms designed for a good night’s sleep:
- Silence: acoustic insulation so you can sleep without noise.
- Space: plenty of room to leave your backpack and organise your things.
- Temperature: adjustable air conditioning in any season.
Terrace with barbecue
Behind the house there is a large, sunny terrace with a garden, a great place to have dinner outdoors and chat with your companions.
Barbecue and swing
The terrace has the following:
- Barbecue: for cooking dinner outside with local produce.
- Swing seat: our guests’ favourite spot to read or rest for a while.
- Large area: room to be on your own or to sit together as a group.
Fully equipped kitchen
If you prefer to cook yourself, the kitchen is complete and has room to work comfortably.
Cook at your own pace
This is what you will find:
- Equipment: appliances, kitchenware and everything you need to cook.
- Storage: space to keep your food during your stay.
- Dining area: a large, bright table for dinners and breakfasts.
Massage table
The house has a massage table available as an option for anyone who would like to use it during their stay. If you are interested, please request it before your arrival: reservas@casabuencamino.com or WhatsApp.
Laundry
To travel light, the house has a washing machine and dryer you can use whenever you like.
What there is for your clothes
Everything you need to get your laundry done:
- Washing machine and dryer: inside the house, with no set hours. The use of the washing machine and dryer is subject to a supplement.
- Drying and ironing: a 40 m² terrace for air drying, and an iron.
- Products: we provide detergent and fabric softener, so you don’t need to bring any.
The house stamp
Stamping your credential at every stop is part of the Camino. At the house we have our own stamp for guests.
The Casa Buen Camino stamp
It is stamped in your pilgrim credential:
- Our own design: a stamp with a drawing that stands out on the pages of the credential.
- For the Compostela: it serves as proof of your stay in Arzúa.
- For all guests: we offer it to anyone who stays with us.
Keep your bike inside
If you ride the Camino by bike, you can leave it inside the house overnight.
Bikes in the entrance hall
The bike is kept in the entrance hall, inside the house:
- Inside the house: it does not stay out in the street.
- Easy access: there is room to bring the bike in and out without trouble.
- Made for cyclists: if you need anything specific for your route, just ask.
WITH FAMILY
If you travel with children
If you travel as a family, we have children’s equipment so you don’t have to carry it.
Cot and highchairs
There is the following:
- Travel cot: light, with a mattress.
- Wooden highchairs: so the little ones can eat comfortably.
- A house for families: children are welcome at any age.
