FAQ
What time can I check-in and check-out?
The entry time (check-in) is usually from 3:00 p.m., ideal for those arriving after the stage from Palas de Rei. Check-out must take place at 10:00 a.m. to allow the cleaning and preparation of the facilities for the new pilgrims. You can consult the modification of these schedules, always subject to the availability of the specific days. Consult Casa Buen Camino’s FAQ for any other questions.
Is it necessary to book in advance in Arzúa?
Arzúa is the junction point of the Camino Frances, Camino Primitivo and the Camino del Norte, so demand is very high, especially in high season (May to September). We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot and avoid walking extra miles looking for availability.
Do you offer backpack transportation service?
Yes, we collaborate with the main courier companies on the Camino (such as Correos or Jacotrans). If you use a luggage transport service, you can indicate “Casa Buen Camino” as the delivery point and we will receive your backpack so that it is ready upon your arrival. Consult Casa Buen Camino’s FAQ for any other questions.
Do you have laundry for pilgrims?
We have washing machine and dryer services (for a fee) so that you can have your clothes clean and dry for the next stage to O Pedrouzo or Santiago de Compostela. We also have a laying area. Consult Casa Buen Camino’s FAQ for any other questions.
Are there dining options near the accommodation?
Casa Buen Camino enjoys a privileged location in the center of Arzúa. A few meters away you will find:
-
Supermarkets to buy provisions less than 200 meters away.
-
